We are a group of nine coops made up of 2 300 small Costa Rican coffee farmers and 5000 families representing all our country’s coffee growing regions. Thus our slogan: 5 000 families, One Coffee. Our coffees include shade grown, organic and traditional sun dried beans .We were the first in Costa Rica to be certified Fair Trade in 1988.

At Costa Rica Coffee Export, we strive to always combine social responsibility with quality. All our coffees are fairtrade certified and produced, roasted and packaged in Costa Rica by our members. By doing so, we make sure we produce the freshest coffee in the marketplace today while at the same time providing a higher return to our farmers for their labour.
